The navy blue traditional beret, made in the Béarn by Blanq-Olibet. The berets are first made of knitted wool that is then waked, which means it was beaten in hot water to give it this felt aspect. The beret was originally worn in Bizkaia and then adopted by the Basque. It has also been worn by the young French scouts.
