These pencils have been made in Lay, in the Loire by the French Pencil Company (Compagnie Française du Crayon) which is the last to still produce pencils in France. The pencils are made of red cedar wood from California and are certified SFI (Sustainable Forest Initiative), and the packaging is certified by the Programme for the Endorsement of Forest Certification (PEFC). These are quality tools made out of noble materials: perfect to doodle during a long meeting.
