Boules de pétanques, sometimes simply called "boules" abroad are a very strong symbol of French culture, in France and abroad. Since 1904 La Boule Bleue makes the authentic boule from Marseilles, respecting the tradition surrounding this craft.  In order for this boules to be suitable to the widest range of people, we have chose a diametre of 74mm for 700g which makes it a ideal boule for a shooter or a pointer. These boules are of exceptional qualities and will only get better with age, taking a little patina. A little care is necessary though: some oil or vaseline from time to time will do the trick. All you did to do from then on is put on your bérêt and you marinière, a good glasse of Pastis and "c'est parti!".
